Scientific Abstract Submission Guidelines

The Scientific Committee welcomes submissions of abstracts for presentation at CUTICON-TG 2025. Accepted abstracts will be presented under one of the following categories: Award Paper, Free Paper, or Poster. Presenters must indicate their preferred category, or choose “No Preference” if applicable.

General Guidelines

  • Conference registration is mandatory for abstract submission.
  • Registration details must be included in the application form.
  • Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and must follow a structured format.

Abstract Structure

1. For Studies:

  • Title
  • Aims and Objectives
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results and Analysis
  • Discussion

2. For Case Reports:

  • Title
  • Introduction
  • Discussion

Evaluation Process

  • All abstracts will undergo blinded peer review by subject experts.
  • Selected abstracts will be presented as Award Papers, Free Papers, or Posters.

Award Paper Guidelines

  • Final selection will be made by the Scientific Committee.
  • The total number of slides must be clearly specified.
  • The presenting author must declare any conflicts of interest.
  • A self-declaration is required stating that the work has not been previously published or presented.
  • Awards will be announced after presentations.
  • Patient images must be non-identifiable.
  • This category is open only to postgraduates and dermatologists who completed training within the last 3 years (up to 2025).

Free Paper Guidelines

The same rules as above apply to free paper submissions.

Poster Session Guidelines

  • The structure should include: Introduction & Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
  • Include details of affiliation, co-authors, and funding/sponsorship (if any).
  • Patient images must be anonymized and used only with informed consent.

Poster Format

  • Follow the presentation format and display standards provided by the committee.
Important Conference Guidelines

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject any paper without providing justification. Scoring of abstracts will remain confidential. There is no restriction on the number of abstracts per delegate, but presentation slots are limited and subject to selection.

The scientific content is the heart of the conference. We encourage postgraduates, practitioners, and faculty members to submit their abstracts early and contribute to the success of CUTICON-TG 2025.

  • Last date for abstract submission: 25 November 2025
  • Note: Verify your presentation at the console at least 90 minutes before your scheduled time.

Prof. Dr. R. Patnaik Best Thesis Gold Medal Award

In memory of the eminent dermatologist and academician Dr. R. Patnaik, this Gold Medal will be awarded to the candidate with the best postgraduate dissertation. The award recognizes dedication, innovation, and scholarly excellence in dermatology research.

Members of IADVL TG who completed their postgraduate studies in the last academic year are eligible to apply. A panel of judges will evaluate submissions based on novelty, methodology, and clarity of writing. The top five papers will be invited for presentation at CUTICON-TG 2025, where the final winner will receive the Dr. R. Patnaik Gold Medal.
